Small town life is akin to the American Dream. Imagine...

It is dusk, on a lovely spring day. You are walking down the street, hand in hand with your sweetheart, strolling at a leisurely pace while the sun paints a glow across the western sky. You pass a neighbor out moving the hoses in their yard, and wave as you go past. Another neighbor drives down the street, and stops in the street briefly to greet you. It is getting dark, but you aren't worried, because no one ever gets mugged here unless it is by an overzealous mosquito. You reach your own door just as the sun sinks below the horizon, and find the house is intact even though you did not lock your door before you left.

There are places where this is still a reality. Where communities provide a safe haven and a place where the rest of the world can swirl around you without sweeping you off with it. The majority of people may live in large cities. But the best life still happens in small towns!
